Modern technology!

So, I just got back into writing this blog and half term arrives and I take off to the lake district for a break with my wonderful friend and our children! I tried to install the app on my blackberry to allow me to update the blog while I was away but I failed despite the best attempts of Henry at Wash House Design – my lovely web designer who has the patience of a saint!! So I am here and back and normal service shall resume because I have a desk and a computer at my disposal again – those who know me well will understand that even this can baffle me  – great with food – not so modern technology!

Friday

As much as we love being here we are all really pleased that it is Friday today and we have the weekend off to look forward to.  It has been such a busy week for us this week, and having spent last weekend installing shelving in the shop to accomodate our ever growing collection of pots and pans and fancy plates, it will be nice to relax and simply have to run around after the children – football, dancing, and birthday parties, the usual weekend things.  And what’s more we are going out for dinner tonight, Darren will be cooked for which is a real treat, the way to a chefs heart is definitely to cook for him, even if it’s only toast (my signature dish!)

Job Vacancy

We need you! We have a vacancy at feast for a team member or two to join us in the shop.  If you are interested please call us and speak to me…Jenn or Carol

Try it and see for yourself……

I hate to say I told you so and don’t do it very often….apart from to my hubbyDarren and of course my little sister Carol…..but even if you have no intention of buying a portion of soup, even if you don’tlike the sound of the name, try a bit…….they are really very good! Take today for a fine example; Moroccan chickpea and spinach.  Not a traditional soup but boy did you like it after a little encouragement and some tastings! That one will become a feast favourite I am sure, extremely nutritious, low in fat and tasty with a little bit of a spice kick at the end.

what’s scarier?

So what is scarier - sending  a menu for the first time to 52 delegates or finding out that said delegates are all from environmental health! :-)
